These tutor.com services are available 24/7:

  • Submit a paper for review
  • Drop off a math problem
  • Take a practice quiz
  • Test Prep for SAT, PSAT, ACT, AP Exams, GRE, GMAT, LSAT & MCAT, GED/HiSET
  • Review a previous session
  • Upload documents to My Locker

Tutor.com

Tutor.com connects students (and parents!) with expert tutors and career coaches in more than 80 subjects and test prep areas. It includes live, one-to-one tutoring, a real-time writing center, test preparation, practice quizzes and 24/7 access to worksheets, videos and tutorials. Tutoring is available 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m., seven days per week. To get started:

  • Visit SCDiscus.org.

  • In the A-Z list of resources, click on Tutor.com.

  • You are able to use certain features without signing up for an account. In order to unlock some features, you must create a FREE Tutor.com account

LearningExpress Library 
LearningExpress Library is a great online tool for:

  • Practice exams for program entry or licensure (GED, ACT, SAT, Commercial Driver's License, Cosmetology, NCLEX, etc.)
  • Self-paced review courses in basic grammar, writing, math, and reading.
  • Free eBooks for skills review, practice exam, and concept review.

Trident Tech Math Help
There is now a Facebook page you can use to ask your general questions.  Search for "Trident Tech Math Help" or click here.  There will be someone available to answer questions you may have at least from 9 am - 7 pm M-F and as available on the weekends.

There is a direct e-mail address students can use to ask questions or arrange a time to have an online tutoring appointment with a Math Tutor.  Simply send an e-mail to MathTutoring@tridenttech.edu and give some times you would be available for assistance.  Please give as much availability as you can so tutors can find time quickly for you to receive dedicated assistance using the D2L Virtual Classroom.
 

Writing Center Tutoring
The TTC Writing Center offers online tutoring to students through chat and email. For more assistance visit the TTC Writing Center Website or email writingcenter@tridenttech.edu.

  • The tutors will help you with your questions but they won't simply give you the answers.
  • Respect your tutor as you would your teacher.
  • Do not use inappropriate language or share inappropriate materials in the classroom.
  • Please bring a question to your Homework Help session and get ready to learn!
